21CCLC Summer Program Information ☀️
Our 21CCLC Summer Program will run June 1–July 30 (no program the week of July 4th). Students will attend Mondays–Thursdays from 9:00–11:45 a.m.

Weekly activities include baking, gardening, classroom activities, and Smart Lab at Drake High School on Thursdays.

Transportation will be provided for Drake and Anamoose students, as well as to and from T-ball/Peewee baseball practices for participating students.

As another school year comes to an end, we want to wish all of our students, families, staff, and community members a fun, relaxing, and safe summer break! ☀️

Thank you for all of your support throughout the school year. We hope everyone enjoys the sunshine, makes great memories, and takes time to recharge for another great year ahead! 🖤

The rest of the May birthdays we celebrated as half birthdays!

Today was a very special last day with Mr. Fletschock. ❤️ After 40 years at Anamoose-Drake, it’s impossible to truly put into words the impact he has made on this school, our students, staff, and community. Generations of kids have walked through his classroom and have memories, lessons, and stories they’ll carry with them forever. Thank you, Fletch, for your dedication, your humor, your love for students, and for giving so much of your life to this school. Anamoose-Drake won’t be the same without you. Enjoy every second of your retirement — you’ve more than earned it! 👏🎉

Last day fun!☀️🎉🏀🌈 We wrapped up the year with our annual 6th grade vs. staff basketball game (the staff still remain undefeated 😎), our color run, and the special 6th grade sendoff through the tunnel.❤️Such a fun way to celebrate the end of another great school year together. A huge THANK YOU to Bravera Bank for sponsoring this year’s shirts for the color run! ❤️

The 6th graders took science outside earlier this week for some hands-on experiments! 🧪☀️ There’s no doubt Mr. Fletschock has a way of making learning fun, memorable, and exciting for students. From laughs to learning moments, these are the kinds of days kids will remember long after they leave elementary school. 🔬👏 Even though Fletch is retiring, he’s definitely making sure to make every last moment count with his students. ❤️

The K–6 students had an absolute blast at Get Air in Minot on Monday for our end-of-the-year “Caught You Being Kind” reward trip! 🎉🚌 So much fun, laughter, and LOTS of jumping! We’re proud of our students for earning this reward through their kindness all year long. ❤️

On Wednesday, the top Kids Heart Challenge fundraisers ate lunch outside with Mrs. Bromley and enjoyed a special treat afterwards! ☀️🍦❤️

Last week, the 5th graders had so much fun doing an end-of-the-year art project with Deb — tie-dye shirts! 🎨🌈 Such a fun way to wrap up the school year!

Last Friday, the 5th and 6th graders got to enjoy a fun snack and beverage day with Mr. Lacsina using recipes from his home in the Philippines! 🍴 The kids loved trying something new and learning more about his culture!

Kindergarten Graduation 🎓❤️ Yesterday we celebrated our Kindergarten graduates — and also recognized our 6th graders, who never got the chance to have a Kindergarten graduation because of the COVID year. Such a special moment for both groups! 🖤 We wish our 6th graders the very best of luck as they venture to Drake High School next year as 7th graders! 👏
