Principal Message
Dear Simpson Families,
Happy Spring! It was wonderful to see so many of you during last month's Parent-Teacher Conferences and our recent Georgia Milestones Parent Meeting. Parental involvement is so important! Thank you for your support and participation in your child’s education at Simpson Elementary! During the testing window of April 20th - May 1st, we look forward to our 3rd-5th grade students demonstrating all they have learned when they take the Georgia Milestones End of Grade (EOG) State Assessment.
Our teachers have created many learning opportunities to help students succeed and we are confident that they will do well! As a gentle reminder, please make sure your child has a good night's rest, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time. We need your help and support to make these last few months be successful for all of our students! I thank you for all that you do to support our Simpson Superstars, and please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance. Have a wonderful spring break during the week of April 6th-10th!
Proud to be your principal,
Dr. Taffeta Connery

April PBIS News
New Items In PBIS Store
Based on student feedback, we are having a Spring Sale at our PBIS store. Students have the opportunity to redeem their Starbucks for the featured items below.
PBIS Glow Party
We are excited to have our second annual end of the year PBIS celebration for our students. Please see the flyer below for more details on this fun event that we are hosting for interested students.
To support a positive school environment and reinforce our PBIS expectations, students must demonstrate consistent positive behavior in order to attend the Glow Party. Beginning February 23, any student who receives three or more Leadership Improvement Plans (LIPs) will not be eligible to purchase a ticket. The purpose of this is to encourage students to meet schoolwide behavior expectations and promote responsibility for their choices. Our goal is not to exclude students, but to help them understand that positive behavior opens doors to opportunities and celebrations. If students happen to purchase a ticket and then receive 3 leadership reports, we will reimburse them with 50 Starbucks.
A Note from our Clinic Worker
Our school clinic is in need of gently used pants in our clothing closet! We can use all sizes, especially sizes 8 and above. Thank you!
