As we turn the calendar from October to November, it's hard to believe how quickly the school year is moving! Just like the changing colors of fall, our students continue to grow, adapt, and find their place here at North Branch Area High School.
One of the things I enjoy most about this time of year is watching students begin to settle into their routines, develop new friendships, take on challenges, and discover opportunities they may not have considered just a few months ago.
But finding your place doesn't happen by accident. It happens through the small choices we make every day. Showing up, asking questions, getting involved, supporting others, and being willing to try something new all contribute to a successful high school experience.
As we head into November, I encourage our students to reflect on what's going well, where they can continue to grow, and what choices will help them move closer to their goals.
Thank you to our families and staff for continuing to support our students on this journey. There is so much to look forward to!

Career Center Corner
Do you have students who are interested in helping others, science, medicine, or healthcare careers? Join us for a field trip to Explore Healthcare Day at Pine Technical & Community College on Thursday, November 5, from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Students will have the chance to explore healthcare careers through hands-on activities, lab tours, and conversations with faculty and current students. They'll gain valuable insight into healthcare programs that lead to in-demand careers throughout our region. Pizza lunch will be provided. Sign up in SchooLinks!
College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University Visit — November 5
College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University will visit NBAHS on Thursday, November 5, from 9:55 a.m. - 10:55 a.m. in the cafeteria. They offer over 70 areas of study to undergraduate students, plus graduate programs in nursing and theology.
Encourage your student to meet the university representative, ask questions, and learn whether College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University might be a good fit. Students should register through SchooLinks to attend.
Drone Inspector USA is coming to NBAHS during Anchor Time on Thursday, November 5. Meet a professional and see how drones help inspect homes and businesses. There will be 2 meeting sessions, one inside(1st Anchor Time session) and one outside (2nd Anchor Time session). Sign up in SchooLinks!
