Dusti Bowling will be here Tuesday morning for our author visit. We have been talking about her visit & sharing her books with students all year, so we are very excited this day is almost here!

Advisory teachers, I need a few things from you on Monday & Tuesday...

1. On Monday during advisory, please open up these few slides to show your students. They include lists of students who are attending her additional sessions (1st-3rd period) & then the last few slides are behavior expectation reminders for the whole school assembly. We went over these expectations in library, but another reminder would be helpful. FYI: Jaguars & Sharks--your students haven't seen the list of who's attending yet because they didn't have library this week.

2. If you have any advisory students attending the extra sessions, small invites will be placed in your boxes by the end of the day Friday. Please pass them out Monday or Tuesday morning to these students. It would be GREAT if they could keep up with them & use them as their 'pass to class' when they come to the sessions. But they will be allowed in even if they lose it since we have a list of students.

Shout out to our Weekly Warrior, Jeff Taylor, who received the sword from Mike Heath!

We were short on subs Thursday and Friday. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to help provide coverage, and to Amber Cole for piecing together a schedule for subs!

Our Arts Integration Steering Committee had a great day of learning at Crystal Bridges on Thursday. We are making progress toward our Public Art Project and will be involving the staff and our community in constructing the tile tabletops soon!
