Caution....Skinner Has Serious Learners

We are looking forward to seeing all of our Sky Hawks starting the week of August 11th!

Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!

Where we are "Constructing the Future" and "Laying the Foundation for Success!"

Remote Learners

For our Skinner Sky Hawks that have been enrolled in the Remote Learning Program, we will be sending out more information about iPad pickup by Friday, August 7th.

We will have designated appointment times on Thursday, August 14th & Friday, August 15th as school for our Remote Learners doesn't begin until Monday, August 18th.

Face Coverings

Students will be required to wear a face covering during the time they are in school. We will be providing 5 cloth face coverings for each student this year. Students will be able to remove their face covering when eating their lunch and when they are outside if they are able to social distance. Face coverings will go home with the students and ask for parents/guardians assistance in washing and remembering to send a face covering with your student daily. We also ask that all parents speak with their students about safety procedures such as keeping their face covering on properly over their nose and mouth during the day, appropriate hand washing, and social distancing. We will take every precaution to keep everyone safe.

Health and Safety Efforts

Several layers of health and safety efforts will be part of the new school year. First and most importantly, if staff or students feel ill or anyone in their home feels ill, they need to stay home. Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting, social distancing measures, frequent hand washing or sanitizing and adjusted meal procedures will all be incorporated into daily routines. We know routines will look different this fall. Conditions and guidance will change, requiring all of us to be flexible and work together for the best outcomes for our Sky Hawks. We know we cannot achieve this alone. Accomplishing a responsible return to school requires all our participation.

Visiting the School

As a safety measure, we will not have visitors, parents/guardians or guests in the building. We know that this is a huge change from prior years when parents/guardians were able to wait with students in the breakfast line, walk students to their classrooms in the morning, eat lunch in the cafeteria and or stopping in for a quick classroom visit.

Sky Hawk Crew Members will help all students find their way to their classrooms on the first day of school...the students are in good hands! We will have more information about the procedure for picking up students before the end of the school day at our Back to School Night.
