Collaboration with Departments to create the Altar

Team collaboration on the Altar de Muertos project with the help of CTE floral arrangements, audio, and video editing, engineering, fine arts department: art, Folklorico, Mariachi, book club, Spanish Department, and the parents’ volunteers.

The library is ready to set up, collaborate and assist with all departments, campus, and district needs. During October many departments and organizations rallied the students to assist in making the items used for the Día De Los Muertos Altar.

The library program collaborates with regional libraries, institutions, and/or community partners to provide access to additional programs and resources for students and faculty.

The program includes opportunities for collaboration among members of the learning community and opportunities to help learners become independent users and producers of ideas and information. Principle 2. The librarian works collaboratively with students, teachers, and the community to promote local, state, and national reading initiatives that encourage learners to read, write, view, speak, and listen for understanding and enjoyment.

Trunk or Treat Trunk or Treat

The book club participated in the annual trunk or treat campus event. The students gave out more than 200 books to students from the community and campus. This could not have been possible without the books provided by the library service department and the Molina Foundation. Thank you to all the book club students who helped set up, decorate, and participated in the event.

Cheering with the Squad 2022

The cheerleaders selected a staff member they admire to cheer with them. We were all so honored to be chosen and care deeply for these wonderful girls. The cheer squad under the direction of Miss Reyes taught us five cheers during two practice sessions. We debuted our talent during the 1st quarter of the football game.

The program includes opportunities for collaboration among members of the learning community and opportunities to help learners become independent users and producers of ideas and information.
