Eric Shaak
Eric is an open-minded and determined student who approaches both academics and personal interests with enthusiasm. He enjoys staying involved through sports and musical production, reflecting his creativity and well-rounded nature. Eric’s short-term goal is to successfully pass his courses and transition into high school, while his long-term aspiration is to reach the NFL. Although he recognizes the challenges of this dream, he remains committed to working hard and giving his best effort. Eric’s favorite subject is Science because he appreciates its unique, engaging, and hands-on learning experiences. He is inspired by Ms. Hess from his elementary school, who made a lasting impact through her patience, understanding, and willingness to support her students. Eric’s perseverance, positive mindset, and dedication make him a strong choice for Student of the Month.
Aaliyah Montgomery
Aaliyah consistently exemplifies the Cedar Leader qualities of kindness, respectfulness, and responsibility. She is a thoughtful and creative student who enjoys practicing martial arts, listening to music, playing the piano, and drawing. Aaliyah is focused on her academic growth, with a short-term goal of improving her grades in Math. Looking ahead, she strives to maintain a positive mindset and continue building her inner strength. She is currently reading Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. Aaliyah’s favorite subject is Art, where she appreciates the freedom to express herself creatively. Her positive attitude, dedication, and well-rounded interests make her a wonderful choice for Student of the Month.
