Creekwood ECC Chat
April 2025
Spring has sprung and our students are loving the warmer weather! We take every opportunity to spend time outside at school, whether it is a scheduled recess or a spontaneous learning experience that can take place outdoors. In fact, we recommend that your child play outside so they can use their imagination and creativity. Structure in play has benefits, however children need time for non-structured play as well. See the article below about the benefits of outdoor play for your child and get them outside this spring!

Distance Learning Friday
Friday, April 4 is a Distance Learning day. Your child will learn from home, completing assignments their teacher has posted on the Canvas platform. Your child's teacher will communicate the expectations for the day with you. Please be sure you "check in" with your child's teacher so your student is counted present for the day.
Annual Online Registration Update (AORU)
Enrollment for next year opens on Monday, April 7. All current BA students must be re-enrolled in order to attend Broken Arrow Public Schools. You will complete this process through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, which can be accessed through your computer's web server (link below) or via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal App (found on your phone's app store). If you are experiencing issues with the Parent Portal, you may visit www.baschools.org/portal and complete the "Contact Us" form for assistance.
🍎Teacher Appreciation Week🍎
Teacher appreciation week is May 5-9, and we want to celebrate ALL our staff during that week. Their dedication to your children, teaching them all the things needed for a great school foundation is what makes CWECC such a special place! We would like to extend an opportunity for you to help us return a little love to our amazing staff. If you would like to contribute for our whole school celebration, please click the link below to sign up. All donations need to be brought to the office by Thursday, May 1.
In addition to this, be on the lookout for a notification from homeroom parents about a daily contribution for your child's teacher. We want to shower our teachers and staff with all the love and to show them all the appreciation they deserve for their hard work this year! Thank you so much for your help!
