Cross Country

Congratulations to all of our younger (but no less enthusiastic!) cross-country runners this week for an event filled with determination, positive energy and plenty of smiles. A great finish to our sporting successes this term, with thanks to the teachers for training and setting the children up with aspirational goals, Karen Moore for her organisation and to the many parents who turned out to cheer our budding athletes on.

End of Term 2

As we wrap up Term 2, I want to take a moment to reflect on another term filled with learning, growth, and plenty of moments to be proud of – and to thank everyone for being part of the ongoing journey.

Firstly, a huge congratulations to all our students for their enthusiasm and willingness to taking on challenges across all areas of the curriculum. Whether it’s been in reading, writing, mathematics, science, the arts or on the sports field, their efforts have shown.

I also want to thank everyone for their active involvement in our Parent Conferences this week. It's always a pleasure to see so many rich conversations taking place between students, teachers, and parents.

Along with the Term 2 Reports, these meetings are such an important opportunity to celebrate progress and look ahead to the next steps in learning, and I'd like to acknowledge the teaching team for their hard work strengthening partnership with families.

As we head into the holidays, I hope every student takes time to rest and recharge and that families have some time to enjoy the break together.

A reminder that we finish at the usual time of 3pm on Friday, and that the PTA will be on hand for their usual ice-block sale treat, so please remember the all-important gold coin!

We look forward to seeing everyone back, refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning in Term 3.
