Case Testing

Next week is an exciting week, as students will get to take the 2nd Case Benchmark Assessment and the Aimsweb assessments to see how much they have grown this year! Based on conversations with their teachers, all students have set goals and now they get to show off all of their hard work! Students will also get recognized during Friday morning pep rallies if they score at the highest levels, go up an entire level, or increase their scores by at least 20 points! They will also earn points for their House! Please encourage your child to do their best on the upcoming benchmarks and be sure to celebrate their successes with them!

Miss Barrett's winning door!

The House of Altruismo celebrated the National Day of Giving on Tuesday with a Black Out Day - Altruismo's color. They are the House of Givers. Altruismo parents celebrated with their students providing cookies and milk, glow sticks, and ornaments. So much fun! Thank you to our wonderful parents who participated...and Pops!

Essential Rule #36

If you approach a door and someone is following you, hold the door. If the door opens by pulling, pull it open, stand to the side, and allow the other person to pass through it first, then you can walk through. If the door opens by pushing, hold the door open after you push through.

Essential Rule #37

Be a good listener.

Listening may sound like a passive activity but in truth, it’s work. With so many things vying for your attention, learning to truly listen will help you focus on what is most important and set you up to be much more successful in life. After all, talking is simply repeating what you already know. Listening is learning something new.

Essential Rule #38

Enter public buildings quietly.

When you are on a field trip with your class, there will be no talking upon entering a building. You should enter the building quietly so that no one even notices you are there. This rule applies to entering any place where people are gathered, whether it is the movies, a church, a theater, or any other venue.
