Greetings from the Principal

HELLO Bulldog families!

Please see above for our dress up days scheduled the week of March 1st as we celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with Read Across America week.

We are so glad to have been in school for two weeks straight! The students have done a great job of getting back into routine. It is also hard to believe that we are on our last week of February. Is the snowy weather over? We hope so.

Mid terms go home tomorrow, Monday. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher should you have any concerns or concerns. We are on the second half of the school year so we are working hard to get students on their respective grade level and get them prepared for the next grade level.

Here are our reminders to help with safety and expectations:

1. All visitors must provide ID and state the reason for their visit prior to being buzzed in the office. If ID can not be provided this could hinder you from entering the building and someone will have to meet you at the door.

2. Students must be in their classrooms by 7:30AM. If your child is dropped off in the morning, please make sure to be in the car line a few minutes early to ensure they get in the school on time. We average 180 car drop offs in the morning, so please make sure you give yourself time to get your child dropped off in time.

3. After school families, please make sure to park to the right of the sidewalk going to the gym. This leaves space for the buses to park and be able to hook up the heaters for the bus engines. Thank you!

Have a great week everyone!

Respectfully,

Emily Campbell

Principal

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PTO

Be on the lookout for your Read-A-Thon information and pledge sheet! We are excited to hold our annual Read-A-Thon. The student that reads the most minutes in each grade level will receive a special prize, the class that collects the highest total dollar amount will receive their choice of treat, and EVERY student that logs at least 60 minutes will receive a bonus item AND 10 extra Bulldog Points to use at the next store. The best part is that the funds raised will help support our school!

We have several projects we are working to fund along with the many things PTO currently funds. If you would like to hear about everything we have coming up please do not hesitate to join us for our next PTO meeting.

Stay tuned for information about an upcoming dance and our Spring Carnival!
