What is Family Literacy Night?

Have you ever wondered how to best support your young reader at home? Well, this night is just for you. The Learning Center teaching staff will be facilitating a variety of literacy-based stations to help you better understand the current grade level expectations, with a special emphasis on sharing activities and strategies that you can walk away with and use at home with your child.

Event Information

Intended Audience: Learning Center students and their parents

Date: Tuesday, October 23rd

Time: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. (You may arrive at any time as each station will provide several opportunities to interact with the teacher while learning about the activity and/or strategy being introduced. Each of the stations will be geared to a specific grade level, thus requiring about 15 minutes of your time for each of the stations that you choose to visit.)

Cost: Free; there will also be a snack station for attendees
