Superintendent's message Superintendent's message

As we close out the second six weeks, there is so much good happening across all of our campuses! We are proud of the progress our students and staff are making, and we appreciate the continued support of our families.

Attendance has been good, but there is always room for improvement. Every day in school matters, not only for student learning and district funding, but also for building habits of responsibility and dependability that will serve our students well in the workforce and throughout life. Parents play a vital role in establishing these expectations early.

At SFISD, we believe accountability is an important part of preparing students for success. Whether in academics, athletics, attendance, or daily behavior, we hold our students to high standards because we want them to become responsible, productive members of society. That foundation begins as early as Pre-K and grows with each passing year.

Education is a partnership, and we are grateful for the families who work alongside us to reinforce these expectations and support our students. Thank you for trusting us with your most precious gifts each day. We never take that responsibility lightly, and we are proud to be part of the Eagle family!

Proud to be an Eagle!
