Arts Integration & Community Connections

Our Science & Visual Art partnership with Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum enhances student study of insects of Waters School Garden. This class is painting scientific illustrations based on Maria Sybilla Merian's botanical delights!

This is a 9 week partnership with shared teaching among all! Ultimately, this learning will be used as we design our outdoor mason bee pollinator zone. We hope to create a functioning habitat to support all of our critters! Stay tuned...
