***FOWE family game night CANCELED due to weather:

The 4th/5th grade combined band and chorus concert this past Tuesday at Salisbury was a great success. Once again, a special thanks extended to Sarah Metcalf for “orchestrating” this complex event that brings students across three schools together to make music - a monumental feat!

The WES Open House for School Transfer Families which was held Wednesday evening was attended by six families with young children. The open houses have been held at each elementary school. The application process for transfer closes March 2.

Lunch help: We have no sign-up for the week after vacation and the rest of March. Please let me know if you can help out or sign up directly on the March lunch calendar. Thanks so much.

The ACSD Board recently revised Board Policy C30, School Assignment and Intra-District Transfer, to offer more flexibility to ACSD families when choosing an elementary school for their child(ren). If you are interested in having your child attend a different K-5 elementary school, please read more about the policy and the application process here. To apply, use this form or visit your school’s front office or the ACSD District Office for a paper application. The application window opened January 30th, and all applications must be received by March 2nd, 2026.
