Concession Stand Workers and Volunteers
The Wylie Choir Booster Club manages the concession stand for many of the indoor sporting events in the Montgomery Center. Proceeds from the concessions provide a major portion of funds needed to support many of the choir events throughout the year. All proceeds from concession sales go toward major events, banquet, voice scholarships, and senior scholarships.
We need our awesome choir students and their parents to volunteer to work each event to make this happen. This is a great way to meet other choir families and support our wonderful choir program. There is an adult Stand Captain at each event to help things run smoothly. Choir students earn points each time they volunteer.
**Voice scholarship students will be announced soon, and every student who receives a scholarship is required to work the concession stand at least twice per year to pay it forward.
We prefer if our student volunteers are accompanied by a parent or adult volunteer, and all parent volunteers must have a WISD Background Check on file, completed every school year. Click here to complete the background check. Please sign up for a slot to support the Pirate Choir program!
Support McMillan Choir
McMillan Choir is continuing to raise funds for our trip to perform on the national stage at ACDA this March! We are selling POINSETTIAS for $15 each! Poinsettias come in 6" pots, and you can choose between red, pink, and white. Orders must be placed by October 22nd. To place an order, go to mcmillanchoir.ludus.com. Poinsettias will be delivered the week before Thanksgiving Break!
If you are a Wylie High student, we can arrange to deliver your poinsetta to WHS that week for easy pick-up. When it asks about delivery in the payment form, choose "WHS delivery".

Join the Band App for Parents
Parents,
Are you overloaded by Parent Square? Please consider joining our Band App for parents. The Band App is a platform that behaves similar to social media and within the app we can create different groups to communicate with. We will create groups this year for several of the WHS Pirate Choirs as well.
The Parent group in the Band App will be a place where information will be shared but most importantly where you can ask questions about what is going on with in the department. We will still send information out in Parents Square but the parent group in the Band App might be and easier way to gather information or ask questions without wading through all the information in Parent Square.
