Eagle Express
Dear Arrowwood Families,
We are entering the final weeks in the nest, and there is still so much learning, growth, and celebration ahead for our Eagles. As we wrap up the school year, classrooms remain busy with instruction and opportunities for students to show what they know and how far they’ve come this school year.
Summer school invitations have been sent out to families who qualify, and we encourage you to review those details carefully if you received one. We are proud of the support being offered to help students continue their learning journey into the summer months. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
There is still a lot ahead in these final weeks, so please stay tuned to our calendar and school communications as all of our end of year events, celebrations, and important dates are shared. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

What's Happening Around Arrowwood?
We Need Your Help!
We need your help to keep all of our Eagles safe during arrival and dismissal times. Students should not be dropped off or released from vehicles before 7:25 AM, as there is no adult supervision available prior to that time.
We have recently noticed a significant number of students arriving early or walking through the parking lot without an adult escort. Please do not release students in the parking lot exit area. If you are utilizing the parking lot for drop-off, we ask that you park in a designated parking spot and walk your child to the crosswalk to ensure everyone’s safety.
We also ask that drivers avoid phone calls and stay fully attentive while in the parking lot and drop-off areas. Your attention and cooperation make a big difference in helping us maintain a safe environment for all students.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our Eagles safe!
School Attire for Warmer Weather
To help our students stay safe, comfortable, and ready to learn, here is a quick, friendly reminder about our school dress code guidelines.
Please keep these simple rules in mind when planning outfits:
Active Feet: Safe, running-appropriate shoes are required for recess and PE. If wearing winter or rain boots, please pack a pair of regular shoes for the classroom. For safety, please leave shoes with wheels at home and avoid flip flops as they do not withstand our playground.
School-Ready Clothing: Outfits should be neat, weather-appropriate, and worn at the waist. To keep our environment focused on learning, please save midriffs, cutoffs, and spaghetti straps for at home.
Keep it Positive: Hats should be taken off inside the building, and clothing must be free of any objectionable words or pictures.
We view this as a partnership! If an outfit ever misses the mark, we will gently reach out to you so we can work together to correct it. Thank you for your continued support in making our school a fantastic place to learn and play.
Volunteering? Background Check Reminder
We love having our parent and family volunteers join us for end of the year activities and upcoming field trips!
As a reminder, all district volunteers must have a completed and approved background check on file for the current school year in order to participate. This is an annual requirement for all volunteers.
Background check paperwork and a copy of your driver’s license can be submitted in the main office at least three days prior to the activity. Please note that background checks cannot be completed on the day of the event.
Thank you for your cooperation and for supporting our students and school community!
Extra Yearbooks - First Come, First Serve
Yearbooks went home with students today. We have a limited number of yearbooks for sale in our main office. They will be $15 cash or check payable to Arrowwood Elementary. Once they are gone, they are done for the year.
