Volume 4 Issue 18

What an awesome week we had! It kicked off with Hot Chocolate Bar at the high school on Monday, Maverick Hangout on Thursday at the K-8 campus, and a huge donation to the orphanage in Mexico today! What a great week of awesomeness. As we head into the final week before break, we've got finals at the high school, work completion deadlines for all students, and hopefully holiday preparations for all. Be sure to encourage your students to finish strong!

This week's background is from the K-8 Maverick Hangout with ornament decoration (thank you Mrs. Ly) and festivities, and hot chocolate bar at the high school(thank you Mrs. Griego in the office). So fun!!!

As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please reach out to Mr. Fineberg, our principal, at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

Principal's Message...

What a fun week we had heading into finals week and the winter break, the students and staff had a great time across both campuses. Our K-8 campus Maverick Hangout was super fun. Student spent time making ornaments, enjoying a fancy hot chocolate bar, and hanging out with friends. Our high school students had a Hot Chocolate Bar of their own as well as a fun poke a tree game for prizes. It was great to see the students enjoying each other's company and having some fun.

As a reminder, this week is finals week at the high school. Please support your students to continue to work hard and finish strong. This last push makes a difference and they have the following two weeks to rest and relax. Same thing for our TK-8 students. Finish strong! This last push can make a big difference.

Lastly, we appreciate all of the donations for the Mexican Orphanage. We were able to collect a number of items. Kudos to Mrs. Fairburn and the entire leadership class for spearheading the canned food, toys, and clothes drive for the children in Mexcio. What an awesome effort!

I also wanted to remind families that Thursday, December 22nd is a non student day. There will be no class in person or on zoom due to teacher work day/non-student day.

As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.
