Tuscan Celebrates National Poetry Month!
Our 4th Graders are now creating video presentations to share during morning announcements to shine a spotlight on National Poetry Month. In this week’s edition of the Tuscan Tidings, we are proud to share five student created National Poetry Month videos. Please take time to view each student created video and listen to our students inspiring messages of hope.
In this week’s edition of the Tuscan Tidings, we are also delighted to recognize winners of the Tuscan School-wide Spelling Bee.

2021 Tuscan School Scripps Spelling Bee Champions!
This year, 63 students in Grades 3 - 5 participated in grade level spelling bee tests administered on the Scripps Virtual Platform. The online spelling competition was rigors as 27 students qualified to participate in the 2021 Tuscan School-Wide Spelling Bee.

We extend our appreciation and sincere gratitude to Ms. Popp and Ms. Ramirez for working to organize and provide this enriching experience for Tuscan students to demonstrate their love of words by building their expertise in spelling and expanding their vocabularies. Please read Ms. Popp’s Library News for more information about Seyla and Tahlia’s participation in the highly competitive and challenging Essex County Scripps Spelling Bee.

Any family who submitted a change request from virtual to hybrid instruction for their child by the stated deadline (and received approval confirmation from their building principal) must electronically sign the Parent Agreement Letter of Compliance for each child attending in-person instruction.
If you do not agree to comply with COVID-19 Guidelines and the agreement is not electronically signed prior to your child's return to school, they will not be allowed in the school buildings and must continue their instruction virtually.
The Parent Agreement Letter of Compliance with COVID-19 Guidelines must be completed utilizing the district’s PowerSchool Parent Portal. You must use a computer or a mobile device web browser to complete the form. The PowerSchool iOS and Android PowerSchool applications are not compatible with our online forms.
