At Open House, we reviewed some parts of our Student Handbook. By clicking on the image to the right you can access a digital copy. A paper copy will be going home with all students this week. Please take time to review this with your child to ensure you are both aware of expectations for NMS Raiders.

If you are coming to pick up your student or sending someone to pick up your student your ID must be presented. Please contact the main office if you need to make changes in PowerSchool of who can or can not pick up your student.

If you have not received your parent letter regarding bus transportation, or may not have completed this form during student registration, you can request bus transportation for your child using the form attached here.

8th grade field trip forms were sent home Friday. Please have them filled out and turned in as soon as possible. Students may make payments or pay the fee in full. Details are on the form. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your homeroom teacher.

Students must NOT wear:

1. Clothing which promotes, exposes, or advertises activities not permitted by law to minors (e.g. guns, drugs, cigarettes, or alcohol).

2. Clothing which depicts profanity, vulgarity, obscenity, or violence.

3. Clothing prohibited under 4328 (Gang and Gang Related Activity) or any other provision of Board Policy.

4. Clothes which are overly tight or loose and therefore too revealing or obscene.

5. Clothing which threatens the health or safety of staff or students.

6. Clothing which is reasonably likely to create a substantial disruption of the educational process or operations of the school.

7. Pajamas (this include pajama bottoms), nightgowns, or other sleepwear.

8. Hats or hoods in the school building.

9. Steel toe boots.

Monday-Friday from 8:00 am -10:00 am in the lobby this week! Our top student sellers will receive a reward on Thursday, November 9th!
