STUDENT ATTENDANCE

Please ensure you let the office know whenever your child will be away from school or if they will be late coming to school or will be leaving early for any reason. The preferred method is to email us at HCC-Attendance@redeemer.ab.ca. Alternatively, you can leave a detailed attendance message on our office voicemail - calling 403-901-2050 and choosing extension "1".

Students arriving late for any reason should check in at the office before going to class. If they are leaving early, the office must have been contacted by a parent and the student needs to stop at the office prior to leaving the building.

CELLPHONE POLICY

CTR Catholic policies related to personal mobile devices and social media are in accordance with the Ministerial Order from the provincial government. Student learning and wellness are prioritized by ensuring that devices are silenced and out of sight during classtime unless used for educational purposes.

BUSING

Throughout the year, any new requests and changes are to be made by completing the Bus Requests/Changes form found in the parent Powerschool account (click on School Engage in the left hand menu then the student name and the form will be available on the top right). Link to Powerschool appears under Useful Links at the end of this newsletter.

The school does not handle busing. Questions and concerns regarding busing should be directed to Christ the Redeemer's Transportation Department at 1-800-737-9383.
