PARCC Resources

Last week, I sent an email with links to PARCC resources, tutorials, practice tests, and more. If you did not receive this email and are administering the PARCC test this spring, please contact me as soon as possible. I will be sending out a student-friendly doc with all of the links by the end of the week. Also, if you were unable to attend one of the grade level PARCC sessions with me, please let me know so we can work out a time to go over the tutorials and resources together.

ICE 2017

Last Thursday, I attended the ICE Conference in St. Charles. I left each session feeling inspired and eager to bring back information, ideas, and tools to our staff. If you're interested in browsing through the resources and presentations that were shared at ICE, please click here.

Google Keep and G Suite

Google Keep is now integrated with G Suite (formerly Google Apps for Education). Google Keep allows users to jot down notes and reminders, create checklists, and capture thoughts. With this update, you'll be able to search notes and add content to Keep right from Google Docs. You can also drag Keep notes into any doc. Click here for more information.

Celebrate Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss' birthday was last Thursday, March 2, and it's not too late to celebrate! Check out this "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" activity on Google Slides. Sort fish into Venn diagrams based on their characteristics. This is great drag and drop practice for PARCC and MAP!
