Message from Mr. Beierman
Maybe it was just my perception, but February seemed to fly by. Perhaps it was the number of spring-like days we enjoyed! I hope you and your family are doing well. February brought many exciting learning experiences for our students, and it has been wonderful to see their continued growth and engagement.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 5th, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
We look forward to the meaningful discussions that take place between parents, students, and teachers during scheduled conference times. Our conference format allows students to share their voices and take ownership of their learning experience. If this is your first time participating in scheduled conferences, don’t worry—our teachers are prepared and excited to share the amazing things your student is accomplishing in an accurate and timely manner.
Leadership Dance
We are excited to host our annual Leadership Dance on Friday, March 6th from 6:00–8:00 p.m. All students who are meeting our school-wide expectations—Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Responsible—are invited to attend.
The cost is $5.00. Parents are expected to arrange for timely drop-off and pick-up. Snacks will be available for purchase. Please note this event is only for students who attend Twin Bluff Middle School.
Spring Break
Spring Break is scheduled for March 16th through March 20th. There will be no school for students during this week. We hope your family is able to spend quality time together doing something you all enjoy.
MCA Testing in April
We will begin our annual Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA’s) starting on April 14th. All grade levels will participate in Reading and Math assessments. More detailed information will be shared as we approach testing dates.
A Reminder About Campus Safety
Please continue to drive safely and pay close attention when on campus—especially during student drop-off and pick-up times. We ask that families stay out of the lower parking lot (swimming pool doors) during bus times. Mixing small vehicles, large buses, and energetic middle school students is not a recipe for safety.
Please use designated drop-off and pick-up locations. Additionally, no left turns when leaving the school. Please take a right, loop around the traffic circle, and then head back up Twin Bluff Road. These procedures help keep all of our students safe.
Thank you for your continued support as we move closer to spring and green grass. We truly appreciate your partnership and your commitment to student safety and success.
Sincerely,
Patrick Beierman, Principal

Over the past month, students have been working hard in their Advisory and WINN classes to reflect on their learning, organize work samples, celebrate growth, and set goals. By conference day, students will be ready to lead the conversation and share what they’re proud of, what they’re working on, and how you can support them moving forward.
If you have not received an email with information on how to sign up, please reach out to Kelly Kolby kjkolby@rwps.org for your sign up information.

Homework Requests & Make-up Work
If a student is absent for a single day, the student may obtain any make-up work from the teacher upon returning to school. If a student will be absent for multiple days, homework may be requested by emailing the teacher directly. A staff email directory can be found on the link below or you can find emails in ParentVue.
Deliveries to Students
Please ensure your children arrive at school in possession of everything they need for the day, including homework, lunch, musical instruments, sporting equipment, and their chromebook. Lunches from DoorDash or other delivery services are not allowed.
