We are Wolves!

Welcome back, Wolf Families.

Happy New Year and welcome back! I hope your holiday season was filled with joy, relaxation, and cherished moments with loved ones. As we step into this new semester, I am excited to continue our journey of learning and growth together this school year. As we embark on this semester, I want to emphasize the critical role that consistent attendance plays in your child's academic success. Regular attendance ensures that students do not miss out on valuable learning experiences and helps them stay on track with their peers. Please support your child by encouraging prompt and consistent attendance.

With winter in full swing, it is essential that our students come to school dressed appropriately for the colder weather. Additionally, we encourage practicing good hygiene, such as frequent handwashing, to help prevent the spread of seasonal illnesses.

Lastly, a new semester brings new opportunities for growth and achievement. Let's encourage our children to approach this term with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude! Together, we can create an environment where every student feels motivated to reach their full potential. Thank-you for your continued support and partnership. I look forward to a fantastic semester filled with learning, achievement, and joy.

Warm regards,

Mrs. Rachel Neff-Rupp, Principal

Wolf Pack Reads

📚🐺 January Wolfpack Reads Update! 🐺📚

We are kicking off the new year strong with Wolfpack Reads for the month of January! January is the perfect time for students to reset, refocus, and build positive habits, and daily reading is one of the best ways to start the year on the right foot. Reading regularly strengthens comprehension, builds vocabulary, and sets the tone for academic success all year long.

This month, Wolfpack Reads is also spotlighting AVID and career readiness. Our library has a special career-themed book display featuring titles that explore a wide range of professions, pathways, and future possibilities. We encourage families to talk with their students about interests, goals, and dreams, especially our 8th graders, who will soon be selecting school pathways for next year. Reading about careers is a powerful way to help students begin envisioning their future and understanding how today’s habits connect to tomorrow’s opportunities.

January Wolfpack Reads Questions:

  • Fiction: What is the theme of this text? Support your answer with evidence from the story.

  • Nonfiction: What is the controlling idea of the text? Support your answer with evidence from the text.

Parents, this is a great month to encourage your student to read daily, explore career-focused books, and start thinking about who they want to become. A strong year starts with strong reading habits—and at Wolfpack, we are reading with purpose and planning for the future! 🐺📖✨

Reminder: Please ensure your child returns their library books on time so that other students can enjoy them too!

Let’s make January a month full of reading and learning!
