Health & Safety First: Replacing aging fire detection and alarm systems district-wide.

High School Restroom Modernization: Most high school bathrooms are original to the buildings. This project will replace outdated plumbing, tile, and fixtures to improve hygiene, ensure ADA accessibility compliance, and provide students with more privacy.
Critical Infrastructure: Upgrading failing boilers, HVAC units, and hot water systems to ensure proper learning environments.
Modernizing Classrooms: Converting under-utilized spaces (like the East & West Middle pool) into high-tech STEAM classrooms.
Playground Upgrades: Replacing the aging playgrounds at Clinton, Northwood and Winchester-Potters to ensure safe outdoor play. In the case of Winchester-Potters, their playground was removed by an emergency demolition because the equipment was rusted and no longer safe for use.
Traffic & Safety: Adding dedicated carpool lanes at elementary schools to separate bus and parent traffic for safer arrival/dismissal.
Protecting Your Investment: Proper maintenance now prevents "emergency repairs," which are often more expensive for taxpayers in the long run.
