- Last day of School June 17 - 1 hour early release at 2:25pm
Hi,
Lots of end of year testing, final projects, and wrapping up units going on in classrooms! Next week will end with field day on June 12! Please sign up to volunteer or join us at the park as a visitor to support the day! It's always so fun! Let's hope for great weather!
Please have students bring back any remining library books!
Also the building gets warm on sunny days so remind kids to wear layers that they can take off and bring an extra pair of shorts and short sleeved shirts to change into if needed, as we all know the weather can go from chilly in the morning to toasty by noon.

Free, 5-day swim and water safety lessons this Summer, starting August 24th. These programs are designed for families who may face financial, cultural, or systemic barriers to traditional aquatics programs.
Program Details:
📅 Dates: Monday, August 24th to Friday, August 28th at 9am, 10 am or 11am.
📍 Location: Wedgwood Swim Club - 7727 28th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115
👶 Ages: 3–15 years old

Sign up to Volunteer for Field Day!
Field day is Friday June 12th and we need a LOT of volunteers to make it work! Find a fun activity to help with here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0448AAAB2CA7FCC61-63717937-field
Note: We will especially need help from people who have a truck or a van who can help schlep games and equipment to the park in the morning, and back to the school in the afternoon.
Also, keep an eye on your teachers’ emails for requests to help walk kids down to the park!
Bike Everywhere Month
Keep working on those Bike Bingo Sheets and join us this Saturday at Mighty-O Donuts at 9:00 for our annual GLES Donut Ride!
