NEW UPDATES
Get ready for Spring Howl 2026!
From March 23–27, staff and students will show their spirit with a full week of themed dress‑up days, including Class Color Day, Sandler Swag Day, Jersey vs. Jersey Shore, and Swag 70s/80s Vibes. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors each rep their decade—from retro rewind to Y2K style—leading up to an exciting Glow‑Out Pep Rally that celebrates our Coyotes pride and keeps the tradition of “Creek Runs Deep” going strong.
CCHS EKG Screenings
Cypress Creek High School will be hosting low‑cost heart screenings for students ages 10–25 on March 26, 2026, from 3–7 PM in the school gym, offered in partnership with Who We Play For.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the leading cause of death among student athletes, yet most cases are preventable, and a quick, painless ECG screening can help detect hidden heart conditions—found in 1 in 300 youth.
Screenings cost $20 and are read by board‑certified pediatric cardiologists, with financial support available for those who qualify. Families can register online to help ensure every child has the chance to grow up healthy and safe.
Support the Band & Guard at Texas Roadhouse
Join us on Wednesday, March 4, from 4–8 PM at Texas Roadhouse in Wesley Chapel for a Dine to Donate fundraising night supporting the Cypress Creek Color Guard. When guests present the event flyer, Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of their total food purchase to the program. Come out, enjoy a great meal, and help support our talented student performers!
2026-2027 Course Planning is Here
Families, this is a friendly reminder the school counselors will be visiting English classes (9th & 10th grades) and US History classes (11th grade) during the next two weeks. Course planning sheets were provided in January and students were advised to review the website curriculum videos, speak with their teachers and have conversations with their family to prepare for the course selection process. If a student misplaced the course planning sheet, one can be accessed on the CCHS website REGISTRATION tab. We appreciate your support with ensuring students are ready as we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year.
APPLICATIONS AND ADVANCE COURSE AGREEMENTS
Just a friendly reminder that all applications and the advance course agreement are due by next Friday, March 6th. If your student selected an Advanced Placement, and/or AICE Marine Science course for the 2026-2027 school year, this agreement must be signed. Students who request a course that requires an application must also be completed by the deadline. All QR codes are available on the REGISTRATION tab of the CCHS website. If you have any questions, please have your student speak to their school counselor.
Powderpuff 2026!
Get ready for the excitement of the Cypress Creek High School 2026 Powderpuff Football Game on March 23! Students can sign up with their class sponsor to join the fun, with limited slots available for football players, cheerleaders, and coaches in each grade. Participation is first come, first served, and students can secure their spot by submitting a completed form and $25 to their sponsor. Practices will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 3 to March 19, from 1:45–3:00 p.m. on the soccer practice fields behind the portables. Don’t miss your chance to be part of one of the most spirited events of the season!

25-26 ESE Parent Survey
The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) is inviting parents, guardians and adult students to complete the 2025-26 ESE Parent Survey. This short, anonymous survey gives families an opportunity to share their experiences with Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services in Florida.
Pasco County Schools is dedicated to making sure our families are represented. We strive to have every family share their feedback so that the voices of Pasco parents are included in this statewide survey.
Who can participate?
• Parents or guardians of children with an IEP receiving ESE services from preschool through grade 12 (excluding gifted services)
• Students with disabilities ages 18 and older
The survey takes only a few minutes and is easiest to complete online at this link: FDOE ESE Parent Survey

🎢Grad Bash 2026
We will not be participating in Grad Bash this year. Unfortunately, we did not sell a sufficient number of tickets to meet the minimum requirement for attendance, and therefore we are unable to move forward with the trip. We know this is disappointing news, and truly appreciate your understanding.
