Welcome to March Vikings,
It is hard to believe that we are already in the month of March! We have come such a long way this year! As we march into the month of March, I want to take a moment to highlight the importance of our students' presence and participation. At Valleyview, we believe that every day in school is an opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve—together as a community.
This month, we are reminding our Vikings that their presence in the classroom is more than just a requirement—it is the key to unlocking their full potential. When students show up and engage, they not only strengthen their knowledge but also contribute to the success of the entire school community.
I encourage all families to help us emphasize the value of being present. Each day in class is an important step towards academic success, building new skills, and becoming responsible, compassionate learners. Let’s work together to make March a month filled with growth, excitement, and achievement!
Thank you for your continued support in helping our students shine. We are looking forward to another month of progress and success with the Valleyview Vikings!
Warm regards,
Principal Brown
March Madness Attendance Challenge
This March, we’re excited to announce a special challenge to encourage our Vikings to show up, stay engaged, and shine every single day!
The Challenge:
- Every student who attends school each day in March will receive a special March Madness Attendance Award and a prize to celebrate their dedication and hard work!
Classroom Challenge:
- The classroom with the most students present every day in March will win a Pizza Party to celebrate their teamwork and commitment!
Attendance is key to success, and we know that together, we can make this a month of learning, growing, and achieving. Let’s see which classroom can rise to the challenge and which students will shine with perfect attendance! We look forward to celebrating our hardworking Valleyview Vikings!

Ramadan is a sacred month observed by Muslims worldwide, marked by fasting from dawn until sunset. It is a time of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and increased devotion to prayer and charity. The fast, known as Sawm, is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, and during this month, Muslims seek to strengthen their connection with God, purify their hearts, and foster a sense of community and empathy for those in need. Ramadan concludes with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, a joyous festival marking the end of fasting.
