A huge SHOUT OUT goes to our NOHS girls and boys soccer team, as they greeted our students on Friday morning for First Bump Friday!!! What a great start to our favorite day of the week;)

As you know, our district has partnered with the Cleveland Browns for our STAY IN THE GAME program that focuses on attendance! Throughout the year, there will be prizes and challenges all for attending school regularly. As a reminder, if you need to pick your child up early from school please call ahead of time for two reasons. First, we can have your child ready to save you time and second, you can provide a reason for the absence can be coded in our system. We appreciate your help with this and for having students here to keep learning, everyday!!

Artists in Ms. Purich's 1st grade classes worked on self-portraits shown below. They are all unique!

Ms. Matuch & Ms. Kuch led learners before school this week for our 1st Sunrise Yoga Club meeting. There was so much interest they formed two groups that join us to start their days with a quiet mind and calm body!

3rd grade scholars in Mrs. Bartlett's class have been working to increase their vocabulary by discussing shades of meaning. Check out all of these "shades" of commonly used adjectives!

Learners in Mrs. Howe's class have been studying communities, both in their classroom and in North Olmsted. Students worked together to create maps of their community, including the places to get goods and services!

Please be sure that you have updated your Back to School Forms in the Parent Portal! In order to receive important communication, such as when school is cancelled, this needs to be completed annually.
