For the last 10 years we have used a dismissal system called Silent Dismissal. The $1.99 purchase of the Silent Dismissal app is required for all families. Please, please, please have this setup before the first day of school.
How does Silent Dismissal work?
Every family is assigned a dismissal number which is shared by all siblings. Your Dismissal Tag should be placed visibly on the visor or dashboard of your car until you leave the carline. Asthenumbers are entered by an ECMCS staff member, students will be announced ontheclassroom Promethean board and will exit the building to meet you in the carpool pick up line.
What do I need to do at dismissal time?
Arrive at school for afternoon dismissal from 2:40 - 2:55. Dismissal will end at 3PM sharp and students not picked up will attend aftercare.
Display your dismissal tag # to be VISIBLEtheENTIRE time you are inthecar line. Do not lay dismissal tags flat on your dashboard.
Do not exit your vehicle for any reason. Staff will help children get loaded into cars. If you need an extra minute, please pull forward and off totheside so other cars can get around you.
Do not email or call the Front Office with your carpool changes.This includes if you are running late for carpool. Students will automatically attend Aftercare so you do not need to notify us if you are running late. All changes must be made in the Silent Dismissal App
Please do not ask the Front Office to have your student waiting for you in the office if you are running late. All students not picked up in the carpool will need to go to Aftercare even if just for 5-10 minutes.
