Parent/Teacher Conferences – Monday, October 20
On Monday, October 20, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, we will be holding Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please note that there will be no regular school on this day in order to allow time for teachers to meet with parents and guardians.
To schedule your conference, a SignUpGenius link will be emailed to all parents and guardians on Tuesday evening Oct. 14 (around 6:00 PM). At that time, you’ll be able to choose the time slot that works best for you. Each conference will be 15 minutes long to ensure that every family has the opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher.
For middle school families, we ask that you only schedule a conference with your child’s homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers will be prepared to discuss your child’s progress in all subjects. If you would like to speak with a different teacher, you may request a separate meeting, and that teacher will do their best to find time to meet with you after school on another day.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s success.
Pinktober fundraiser for Mrs. Hutchinson starts this Wednesday.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us this past Wednesday to celebrate Pinktober Wednesdays and support Mrs. Hutchinson in her fight against cancer. Your generosity, kindness, and Pinktober spirit were incredible!
The good news? We’re not done yet!
We’ve got two more Wednesdays to keep the Pinktober fun (and fundraising!) going. So break out your best pink, bring your $5 donations, get your wristbands, and let’s keep the good vibes rolling.
Helping someone has helped most all of us.
Let’s make every Wednesday count—for fun, for community, and for Mrs. Hutchinson!
Red Ribbon Week Oct. 27-31
KAES will celebrate Red Ribbon Week on Oct. 27-31. This is a time for us to celebrate kindness and staying away from things that will do us harm. Each day students get to dress a little different based on the theme for the day. Take a look at the information below to make sure your child is prepared for these fun days.

thoughtfulness, care, and a genuine willingness to help others. His
positive attitude and supportive spirit make him a true leader among
his peers. Way to go!

2nd Quarter starts on Tuesday October 14.
2nd quarter starts on Tuesday. Can you believe that the 1st quarter is already over. Sometimes that last week of the quarter can be stressful. Plan now to stay focused on projects and tests so that this 2nd quarter will be one you control.
