August 10 – New Student Registration
9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. | Multi-Purpose Room
Registration is for students who are new to Centerville Junior High. Students who completed a course request in the spring do not need to attend.
August 10-12 -- CHJ Volleyball Camp at CJH
8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. = 8th and 9th grade
9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.= 6th and 7th grade
August 14 – Student Schedules Available
Student schedules will be available on MyDSD beginning at 3:00 p.m.
August 17 – Charger Camp (Incoming 7th Graders)
9:00–10:30 a.m.
Incoming 7th graders are invited to tour the school, meet new friends, and learn all about life at CJH!
Parents: Please drop your student off just before 9:00 a.m. and pick them up at 10:30 a.m.
Immunization Clinic
10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
An immunization clinic will be available at the school immediately following Charger Camp.
August 17–19 – Schedule Change Requests
Schedule change requests will be accepted by email only during August 17–19.
- A parent or guardian (not the student) must email the student's assigned counselor with the request.
- Requests will be processed by email on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A $10 schedule change fee applies for schedule changes unless the request is due to a scheduling error.
August 20 at 8:15 a.m.– First Day of School! 🎉
