Charger Times- November 2024
Message from Mrs. Vandiver and Mrs. Menteer
Dear Charger Families,
As we embrace the month of November, we are excited to reflect on the wonderful family events we’ve had so far this year. Your participation has truly made a difference in our school community! We also are grateful for your participation in Parent-Teacher Conferences last month, where you connected with teachers to discuss your child's progress and celebrate their achievements.
1. Professional Development Day:
Please remember that November 1st is a Professional Development Day for our teachers. There will be no school for students on this day as our educators engage in training and workshops to enhance their teaching practices.
2. Veteran's Day Breakfast and Assembly:
Join us on November 11th as we honor our veterans with a special breakfast and assembly. This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to express gratitude to those who have served. We invite all veterans and their families to attend and share in this meaningful celebration. The breakfast will be from 7:15-7:50 AM and the assembly will follow at 8:15 AM. Don't forget to use the QR code on the flyer below to RSVP by November 1st.
3. Dressing for the Weather:
As the weather gets colder, please ensure that your child comes to school dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. A warm jacket or coat, along with hats and gloves, can make a big difference in keeping them comfortable during playtime.
4. Thanksgiving Break:
Thanksgiving break is just around the corner! School will be closed from November 27th to November 29th. We hope you enjoy this time with family and friends.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Warm regards,
Crystal Vandiver

With cold weather approaching, remember to send your child with a coat, hat, and gloves as needed.
To prevent spreading sickness, please remind your child about covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or their elbow and frequent handwashing.
Make sure to update your child's medical information with Nurse Audrey if anything changes throughout the year. We want to take the best care of your child!
Any donations of extra pants boys or girls sizes 6 -12 would be greatly appreciated!!
