To help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal for all students, we kindly ask that families do not drive around the car in front of them during parent pick-up unless directed by a staff member. Some students require additional time and assistance getting into their vehicles, and moving out of line can create unsafe conditions. The safety of our students is our top priority, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation in following these procedures.

Our students had a fantastic time today at a high-energy reading assembly inspired by the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss! 📚✨

This 45-minute, surprise-filled performance featured the magic of Tommy James, appearances by Thing 1 and Thing 2, a lively retelling of The Tortoise and the Hare with student helpers, and even the magical appearance of a real live bunny! Students were captivated from start to finish, exploring the wonders of books and discovering that reading can be fun, exciting, and full of imagination.

A huge thank you to our PTO for sponsoring this unforgettable celebration of reading! 🐰📖🎉

Grade 3 Rotary Club Dictionary Distribution Grade 3 Rotary Club Dictionary Distribution

Our third graders had a special visit from the Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters, who generously gifted each student a dictionary! As part of this meaningful experience, students reflected on the importance of kindness by writing about ways they can help others. They proudly shared their thoughtful ideas and illustrations with classmates, spreading messages of compassion and community throughout our school.

PRIDE program at RLM PRIDE program at RLM

At RLM, our PRIDE program is designed to help students grow not only as learners, but also as caring, responsible community members. Each month, teachers and students focus on one of our PRIDE traits:

  • September – Passion

  • October – Respect

  • November – Ingenuity

  • December – Determination

  • January – Empathy

  • February – Positivity

  • March – Responsibility

  • April – Inclusivity

  • May – Dreamer

Throughout the month, students learn about the featured trait in their classrooms and in schoolwide activities. On Mondays and Fridays, student volunteers share examples and their own interpretations of the trait during morning announcements. At the end of each month, we celebrate students who have done an exceptional job demonstrating the trait in their daily actions. These students will also receive a token to "purchase" a book from our school book vending machine.

Our PRIDE program helps us build a school culture where character, leadership, and positive choices are valued and celebrated.

A Note From Our School Nurse Mrs. Dennis A Note From Our School Nurse Mrs. Dennis

Dear Families,

The health office is currently in need of clothing donations. As an elementary school, students frequently need a change of clothes due to lunchroom spills, bathroom mishaps, and muddy falls on the playground.

We are seeking gently used or new items in all elementary sizes. Elastic waist pants, sweatpants, leggings, shorts, and new unopened underwear are especially appreciated.

Families are also encouraged to pack a personal change of clothes in their child’s backpack in a labeled zip-top bag with their name on it. This can help students quickly change and return to class if needed.

If you are able to donate, please send items to the front office labeled for the Health Office.

Thank you for your support in helping our students feel clean, dry, and comfortable during the school day.
