HAVE A GREAT WEEK!🐾❄⛄
Dear Beaubien Families,
We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break and were able to enjoy all of the beautiful snow we received! As winter settles in, please remember to allow extra travel time in the mornings. With the current weather conditions, our car line will move slowly. The easiest way to avoid delays and ensure your child arrives on time is to park two blocks away and walk them to school.
It’s hard to believe the holidays are just around the corner and the end of the 1st semester of school. From the Beaubien family to yours, we wish you a joyful and peaceful holiday season. As we move into this busy time of year, we also want to emphasize how important it is for students to be at school every day when they are healthy. Consistent attendance truly sets children up for success, and the best gift we can give them during the holidays and throughout the year is the gift of a strong education. As a reminder, our last day of school before Winter Break is December 19th, and classes will resume on Tuesday, January 6th.
As we enter the holiday season, we want to express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone who makes it possible for our students to come to school ready to learn each day. Please also make sure your children are dressed appropriately for the cold weather. Throughout the winter months, all students will line up outside in the morning and will go out for recess whenever the temperature, including wind chill, is above 20°. We are collecting donations of gloves for students who may need them. These can often be found at local dollar stores, and your generosity helps keep all of our students warm and comfortable during outdoor time.
We have many exciting activities planned for the next three weeks and look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you and your children. From classroom projects to school wide events, this time of year is filled with joy, creativity, and opportunities for our students to shine. We are grateful for your continued support and partnership in making this season special for our entire Beaubien community.
