Meet Your 25-26 Pinnacle Faculty & Staff
Front Office
Mrs. Jenks- Principal
Welcome to the 25-26 school year heroes! This is my second year as principal of Heritage Academy Pinnacle and I am a proud Heritage Hero. I love our values and believe in our mission, that our scholars have the ability to impact the future of our country through exceptional citizenship and avid service, just like our forefathers.
I value collaboration with our parents and community and promise to devote myself to serving our scholars and promoting a clean, moral, and safe campus where scholars are inspired to learn.

K-5 Teachers
Ms. Stekkinger- Kindergarten
My name is Monica Stekkinger. I was born and raised in Ventura, California. I attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff where I received my B.S. in Elementary Education and Special Education. After graduating from NAU, I moved to Scottsdale where I worked in education, primarily early education, for over five years before transitioning to kindergarten. This is my eighth-year teaching kindergarten. Some of my favorite activities include reading, traveling, and spending time with my cat, Figaro and my golden retrievers, Georgia and Otto.
Kindergarten is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. I believe in a student-led classroom; many times, the process is more important than the product, and learning to accomplish by hands-on experiences!
I feel that my greatest contribution so far in education has been serving my students to the best of my ability, being an advocate for their education, and giving them independence and confidence to succeed!

I will be your child’s first grade teacher! I come with 10 years of experience in early childhood. I strive to create a classroom that adapts to all learning styles, ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!

Hello 2nd grade families! My name is Jackie Wheeler and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. We are the proud parents of a 14 year-old daughter who loves to sing, dance, and act, and a 9 year old son who loves all things sports, and plays travel hockey for the Jr. Coyotes. When I’m not busy in the classroom or attending events for my kids, I enjoy reading, baking, crafting, and hanging out by the pool or watching movies with my family. I also loved attending Phoenix Coyotes games, but now settle for other NHL teams, college hockey, and of course the Jr. Coyotes!
