It's hard to believe we've already wrapped up the first quarter of the school year! As the leaves begin to change and fall settles in, I am reminded of just how much growth has taken place within the walls of H. E. Corley in these first nine weeks. Our students are learning, leading, and growing each day, and there is so much to celebrate!
One of our biggest celebrations this fall is our school's GOOD rating on the 2025–2026 South Carolina School Report Card! This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the continued partnership of our families. We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment, but as I've shared with our Flight Crew, we're GOOD, and we're just getting started!
As we move into the second quarter, our focus remains on what matters most: strong, high-quality instruction in every classroom, every day. Our teachers are working intentionally to provide engaging lessons, set high expectations, monitor student progress, and ensure that every child receives the support and challenges needed to succeed. We believe that great things happen when strong instruction, meaningful relationships, and student leadership come together.
Families, thank you for being an important part of our journey. Your support, encouragement, and commitment to your child's education make a difference. As we soar into the second quarter, let's continue working together to make every day and every learning opportunity count!
