CRMS Ridge Relay

Soaring to Success! 5/7/2021

CRMS RidgeRelay Soaring to Success! 5/7/2021

Hello Eagle families,

*We continue with STAAR over the next 2 weeks. Please read the new STAAR update for CRMS carefully--it is different for each grade level on each of the four remaining testing days.

We need your help! We are asking all families to do the following 2 things now. It only takes a few minutes to get both things done:

  1. Renew your mLISD device for next year. If you do not do this by May 21st, your child will have to turn in their device before school is over, and then be reissued the device after school starts next year. It only takes a minute to renew it now and then your child can keep it over the summer and be ready to start next school year. This includes 8th graders! 8th graders who renew, will be issued their new device for HS during the last week at CRMS so they are ready to start next year at VHS without any technology delays. Click HERE to sign-up and pay the 2021-2022 mLISD fee

  2. To provide accurate staffing, classrooms, and resources for our students, we are asking all of our families to log-in now to verify their registration information for next year. If you are a current student, it only takes a few minutes to log-in and confirm your information is up-to-date, so please sign your students up today! Registration is now open for ALL new and returning students.

As we finish this year and start to prepare for next year, we appreciate your help with getting these 2 steps completed today. There are more details for your reference below.

In case you missed it on social media, check out our CRMS Super School Visit as we highlighted some of our amazing programs on campus. We didn’t have time to show off all of our great classes, but our Eagles are soaring to success in all programs including CTE, Fine Arts, Athletics and core classes! So proud of all you have continued to accomplish this year!

Thank you so much to the PTA and all the CRMS families who donated this week for our Teacher Appreciation celebration! It was a great treat for our teachers and we are grateful!

*And don't forget our 2-hour Early Release again this Wednesday, May 12th.

Go Eagles!

Our talented CRMS theater students made a virtual spring show of Romeo and Juliet with a southern twist set in Verona, Texas. Check it out on YouTube now!

Hello 6th Grade Families!

As the end of the school year is fast approaching, I wanted to remind you that the State of Texas requires all students to receive a Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis booster (Tdap) and a Meningococcal Vaccine (MCV4) prior to the start of 7th grade. Many times, these immunizations are given at your student's well-visit with their doctor. Please review your student's immunization record and submit an updated copy to the school nurse (Rachael Kristoff). You may contact her by email or by phone for any questions. Please reference the Texas Department of State Health Services for Students for additional information.

Thank you,

Athletic Events Updates/Leander ISD to limit spectators at sporting events:

As we approach Soccer season, I wanted to give you an update on LISD Spectator Guidelines. LISD has lifted the two spectators per student limitation. However, we are now currently under a 50% capacity rule for the CRMS Stadium. Our CRMS Administrators will monitor the capacity in the stadium. All spectators are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Please be willing to leave the stadium after your student is done competing to allow other parents to attend.

To ensure you have the most accurate and up to date information on our sports schedules, please visit the Athletics Website.

  • Here is the Leander ISD General Spectator information for all Leander ISD athletic events.

  • Everyone entering the stadium/gyms will be required to wear a face mask the entire time they are at the school event.

  • You will be asked health screener questions when you arrive and must be completed by each person attending. If you have symptoms, please do not attend.

  • Stadium and gyms will have reduced, limited capacity and we will not be able to allow anyone to enter when at capacity.

  • Seating will be marked off on bleachers for social distancing. Please do NOT sit on the blue tape.

  • We ask that when your child’s game is over, please leave the stadium/gym, so that we can let in more families for the following games.

  • MS game tickets will be sold at the gate of each event. No presale tickets for MS events.

    • Limited passes will be accepted.

    • No student athlete passes will be allowed.

  • Concession stands will be open with prepackaged food items and drinks for sale.

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be provided and restrooms will be open. Water fountains will not be available.

  • Please review the directions below for setting up your portal to register and create a Frontline account. You may do this through the Frontline Health Portal app or through the web address, Click Here.

(It is recommended you use a desktop computer to register, once registered the Frontline Health App and QR code will work with ease)

  • Use the primary email that you provided to the district and confirm the Portal Terms of Use.

Maintain the social distancing, wear your mask, wash your hands & sanitize!

If anyone in your household tests positive for COVID, please notify Mrs. Sturdevant or our school nurse, Rachael Kristoff, immediately. Also, since we are in between holiday breaks, if your child is in-person & was with someone over the holiday break that has now tested positive for COVID, you must notify the nurse of the exposure. We are doing our best to properly contact trace & keep all of our students & staff safe.

We encourage our families and staff to do their part to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

By coming to school, you are attesting that you confidently answered “NO” to ALL of the questions related to COVID-19 symptoms and have a very low risk of carrying or spreading COVID-19. If you answered “YES” to ANY of the questions, you are to stay home. All screening information will be kept confidential by the campus administration and the campus nurse.

Students experiencing ANY of the symptoms from the list, in a way that is not normal for the student, MUST REMAIN AT HOME and a parent/guardian should email the CRMS Attendance Clerk (CRMSAttendance@leanderisd.org) and provide the student’s Full Legal Name, Student ID Number, date and reason for absence.

***Students who are required to stay home due to COVID-19 related symptoms can still access learning virtually if they feel well enough to attend virtual classes.

Launch to Learning Guides and FAQ

  • Special Programs Guide

We know that our community still has questions, so we’ve worked hard at cultivating an expansive, updated FAQ section of the Launch to Learning site. The latest additions will be highlighted green for a few days and then moved into a queue under the appropriate heading.
