Hello FamiLEE,

We had a great week and are looking forward to the many exciting things coming up after the Veterans Day holiday on Monday. Our Girls Flag Football team will travel to Prattville HS on Tuesday in the second round of the state playoffs and basketball season has also begun. Students will receive 2nd quarter progress reports this Thursday. Please look out for your child's progress report and let us know if we can help in any way. We have only 2 weeks left until Thanksgiving break, so it is truly crunch time for students to get their grades up as high as possible and get help if they need it.

Please send excuse notes to LHS.Attendance@hsv-k12.org. We are working hard to meet our goal of a 95% attendance rate. Please help us with this effort. We need to get back up to 95%.

Our magnet window is open. If you know someone interested in applying, please send them the information in this newsletter. We want to grow our FamiLEE!!!

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Kitrise Torain

LHS Principal

Attention Parents & Guardians! Every Tuesday through Friday, we have FamiLEE time between 11:30am-12:15pm. This is a time when students can get help from their teachers or attend clubs. If your student is struggling or needs to get help from their teacher, please see the schedule of teacher office hours below and encourage your child to attend!
