Class of 2031 Applications Open Monday!

Applications for the Class of 2031 open this Monday! Please help us spread the word by encouraging family members and friends who may be interested in TSA to apply through the Home Access Center (HAC).

Our TSA students and families are some of our best ambassadors! You know firsthand the incredible opportunities available through our Early College and P-TECH programs, and sharing your experiences can help other students discover what makes TSA special. Thank you for helping us welcome the next generation of Owls!

Picture Retakes This Friday!

Don't forget that picture retakes are this Friday! If your student needs a retake, please make sure they are prepared to have their picture taken.

Thank you for continuing to show up, stay engaged, and support our TSA community. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

INTEGRITY, DEDICATION, WISDOM

At TSA we prioritize Integrity, Dedication, and Wisdom as our Core Characteristics of Success.

Integrity

Tomball Star Academy students and staff are called to live up to and into a spirit of integrity at every turn. High quality instruction, robust support of social-emotional needs, and rich collaborative culture are the standards to which we hold ourselves accountable as a community.
Dedication
Tomball Star Academy students and staff are dedicated to the challenge of teaching, leading, and learning in the Early College High School model. We dedicate today to the work that makes tomorrow possible. Daily we commit to: “Keep digging in. Keep doing the hard things. And keep your ‘Wings Up’!”
Wisdom
Tomball Star Academy students and staff value the growth and development that lead to wisdom. We celebrate individuality and innovation as pathways to wisdom, and value progress over perfection. Wisdom is the result of our experiences.

Algebra II Review: Snowflake Fight!

Mrs. Moody's Algebra II students turned their first-quarter review into a lively competition with a Snowflake Fight! Students worked to decorate their castles by correctly answering review questions, earning opportunities to spin the wheel and potentially steal snowflakes from their classmates or give snowflakes away. It was a fun and engaging way to review important concepts, put their knowledge to the test, and bring a little friendly competition into the classroom!

Exploring College Opportunities

Our sophomore Owls hit the road this week for college visits to the University of Houston and Texas A&M University! Students explored both campuses, learned about the opportunities available to them, and discovered some of the unique traditions that make each university special. These visits help our students begin envisioning their futures and exploring the many possibilities that await them after TSA!

Recruiting the Next Cohort of Owls!

Our Class of 2031 recruiting season is officially underway! This week, we connected with students at Willow Wood Junior High on Tuesday and Tomball Junior High on Thursday, while also meeting with families during parent information sessions at Tomball Junior High and Creekside Park. We love sharing the incredible opportunities available at TSA and helping families learn more about our Early College and P-TECH pathways.

Next week, we look forward to visiting Grand Lakes and Creekside Park and meeting with families at Willow Wood Junior High on Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. If you have friends or family members interested in TSA, please encourage them to attend the parent information session to learn more about our programs and the opportunities available to future Owls! 💜💛
