We appreciate the active role that our families take in their child's learning experience! All visitors and volunteers must have a background check completed annually. If you would like to participate in your child's classroom, or visit during lunch, please complete the attached form and submit it along with a picture of your driver's license or state ID. We will have a special table for you and your student to sit at during lunch together!

Please understand that while our teachers establish their classroom routines they may not need volunteers in the first few weeks. To lay a strong foundation for the year our classrooms need this time to establish the procedures and expectations. Volunteer schedules will come directly from the teacher and they will reach out when the classrooms are ready to welcome the help.

Thanks to state legislation, standard breakfast and lunch are now completely free for all Michigan students. Breakfast is served in the classroom every day.

Action Needed: Fill Out the Education Benefits Form

Even with free meals, it is vital that all families complete the Household Survey Education Benefits Form. Completing this form takes less than 10 minutes and directly impacts our school funding.

Why it matters:

• Every submitted form helps our district qualify for state and federal grants.

• These grants fund crucial classroom programming, academic resources, and student support services.
