Check out all the happenings in PreK with Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Tami! Look at all the fun!!!

So much fun and learning was taking place with Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Gloven in Kindergarten this week!

The students and faculty have worked hard this week in practicing our new educational model during this time of social distancing. Some students are learning in the classroom with the teacher who is streaming live with other students in another classroom or at home.

Our awesome Resource Officer Sgt. Washington came by to visit the students a couple times this week! He even was able to enjoy a popsicle to cool off with the 5th graders!!!

We have updated guidelines from the Diocese concerning our procedures for preventing and responding to potential or active COVID-19. Updates are in bold.

We will be having our first school Mass next Wednesday at 10 a.m. This Mass will be only open to students, teachers, and faculty of St. Francis by the Sea. However, Father Mike has given permission to the immediate family members and the person who purchased the Mass intention, to attend. They must contact me so that we can accommodate them safely.

We will have two 10 a.m. School Masses. One in the Church and the other in the Family Center. The Family Center will be for the PK to Second graders who have not received communion. We will be able to only accommodate one or two classes per week in the Family Center so we will be live streaming that mass to those who cannot attend and those who are doing virtual learning at home. The link for the mass is embedded below. This will also be accessible to virtual students and community members who are still unable to come to Mass.

Feel free to use the embedded link below for the mass or to cut and paste the following link in your browser.

The 3rd through 8th grade students traveled to the church this week to get their seat assignments for mass. Thank you Ms. McGlynn for coordinating the practice.

Thank you parents for all your cooperation with the safety procedures and new routines with drop off and dismissal!!!

Thank you for everyone who shared their child(ren)'s first day of school photos! Check out the album on Facebook of all the pictures of our students here at school and at home!!!
