August 18 - August 22
Hello Mustang Families!
We had a strong start to the school year last week. The first three days were filled with energy as our 7th & 8th graders were happy to connect with friends, and our 6th graders learned how to travel from class to class. Above is a picture of our 8th grade WEB leaders who helped welcome our 6th grade students to Madison. Led by Ms. Bronson, Ms. Carr, Ms. Miller and Ms. Schultz, our 8th grade leaders did a great job playing games with students and helping them feel prepared for the first day of school!
Thank you parents for your patience in the parking lot for drop-off an pick-up. Traffic is always a challenge at our school with one way in and out, so we appreciate your attention to safety as you drive through the lot. Traffic usually reduces once families get accustomed to their routines in the next few days.
Within the first two weeks of school, a few schedules may be adjusted as we balance classes to support student needs; this occurs because new students may join Madison and others transfer to different schools during this time. This is a normal part of the beginning of the school year, and we do our best to make any changes smooth and minimal. These adjustments help ensure that every student has the best possible learning experience.
Please reach out to me, our assistant principals, counselors, or teachers if you every have questions or suggestions. We are here for your students, and we want to partner with you to make Madison a safe, welcoming, challenging and supportive environment.
Thank you,
Tom Berger
Principal
