Respect, Responsibility and Resourcefulness
A Prayer for the First Day
Lord, tomorrow we come forth — with a little grit and a lot of grace. Bless our students as they step through the gate, bless our families sending them off, and bless this whole year ahead. Amen. 🦁
We Can't Wait to See You Tomorrow! 🎒
Good evening, St. Mary's Families,
We are SO ready for Day 1 — the classrooms are set, the staff are excited, and we truly can't wait to see your kiddos walk through the gate tomorrow morning! We hope you join us for the opening assembly as we begin the 2026-2027 school year in community, prayer and joy.
A couple of quick reminders before we dive in:
🚗 Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Please take a moment to review our traffic pattern (attached/linked below). For the safety of our kiddos, the sanity of our wonderful neighbors, and out of consideration for our whole community, we ask that everyone follow it closely. Thank you in advance for your patience as we all get back in the swing of things!
⛪ Great Seeing You at Mass! We loved seeing so many of you at Sunday's Latah County Mass — what a great way to kick off the year together.
👕 Free Dress Passes: If you received one, we hope you enjoy using it soon — just not tomorrow! Let's start Day 1 in uniform.
🍎 Hot Lunch: Our hot lunch program is up and running! Menu is below for your reference.
Get some good sleep tonight — we'll see you in the morning!
We are ready to Come Forth, Every Day!

Bringing LEGO Robotics to St. Mary's!
We're excited to share that St. Mary's is exploring something brand new this year: a LEGO Robotics program, with our sights set on competing in a regional robotics competition hosted at the University of Idaho.
We already have a 3rd grader and a 6th grader eager to get started — and now we want to hear from you. Is your child ready to sign up?
This program is open to all students, kindergarten through 7th grade. No prior robotics or coding experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to build, problem-solve, and work as a team.
WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU - Is your child ready to sign up?
Here's what we know so far:
• Open to all students in Grades K–7
• LEGO robotics platform — building, programming, and teamwork
• Goal of competing in a regional competition at the University of Idaho
• Expected time commitment: approximately 2 hours per week
This is very much in the early planning stages — once we know how many students are interested, we'll finalize the details: schedule, team structure, and coaching. Your response now is what helps us build the right plan for St. Mary's.
If your child (in any grade, K–7) would like to participate, please let us know by August 28 by emailing Randi Croyle (randiroo27@gmail.com) or Marie Bordeleau (mbordeleau@stmarysmoscow.org)
We're excited about what this could bring to our students — problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork, all wrapped up in something genuinely fun. Thank you for considering it!
