Congratulations to a group of our fourth graders who traveled to the Track at New Balance on Friday to share their PLTW and ST Math Projects with professionals from the Boston area.
Principal Update 5/12/25
Good Morning Memorial Families,
We have a busy week ahead at Memorial! On Wednesday night, we will hold our annual Specialist Night, where families will have the opportunity to see and discuss projects and activities that your children have engaged in throughout the school year in music, art, physical education, technology, and library class. You can see your child's scheduled time to attend by checking out the information below. In an effort to ease the parking congestion, please do your best to leave at the appropriate time, and if you are coming to session 2, please plan to arrive as close to the start time as possible. Our specialists look forward to sharing the work that your children have engaged in this year. This is a family event and your children should plan to attend with you!
On Thursday night at Nipmuc High School, Spanish Immersion classes will present song and dance as part of MURSD's MultiCultural Night. Come learn more about the cultures represented in our district, and enjoy some fun performances as well. The fun begins at 5:30pm.
And finally, third and fourth graders will take the Math MCAS this Wednesday and Friday. We are confident that your children are well-prepared and ready to engage in the assessments confidently. We appreciate everyone's help with strong attendance on testing days to reduce the number of make ups that we need to complete early next week.
Have a terrific week!
Warmly,
Wendy

Inspired Learning Day Request from Mr. Heath
Mr. Heath is looking for recycled materials again for his instrument making session on our June Inspired Learning Day. He is looking for, in particular, cardboard tubes, plastic containers/tubs, etc. that could be used to build instruments. If you have these items at home and want to send them in with your child, he would appreciate it!
