This Murder Was Staged is a fast-paced, meta-theatrical comedy and murder mystery written by Patrick Greene and Jason Pizzarello. On the opening night of a play called A Spot of Murder, the tyrannical director, Sinclair Hemmings, drops dead onstage right before the killer is unmasked, turning the theater into a real-life crime scene.

Did you know that hand sewing has been a vital human skill for over 20,000 years? From ancient bone needles and animal sinew to 700-hour haute couture gowns in Paris, stitching connects us across history, culture, and creative expression.

This week, Mrs. Owen’s CTE Fashion Design students took a deep dive into the history, economy, and artistry of hand sewing! After learning how sewing evolved from a survival necessity to high fashion and sustainable craft, students picked up their embroidery hoops and needles to put those classic techniques into practice.

Whether it's precision tailoring, sustainable repair, or personal style, our future designers are proving that the art of hand stitching is as relevant today as ever!

**Registration for Winter Sports is open**

Click HERE to register from now until November 13. Sports offered in the winter include boys basketball, girls basketball, ice hockey (co-op with CV- register on CV website), girls swimming, boys wrestling and girls wrestling. The first day of practice is 11/16 (swimming starts on 11/9.)
