Principal's Message
Greetings, Wildcat Families!
Please remember that all electronic devices must be turned in, placed in the locker, or left at home on CMAS testing days. This includes cell phones, smart watches, Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, and META glasses. To help keep devices secure, students will label a brown paper bag with their name to store any electronics collected during testing. Students need to bring their fully-charged Chromebook.
Tuesday, April 7 – Math (AM) and Language Arts (PM)
Thursday, April 9 – Math (AM) and Language Arts (PM)
Friday, April 10 – Math (AM) and Language Arts (PM)
Tuesday, April 14 – 8th Grade Science
Thank you for helping us maintain a focused, secure environment for all students during CMAS!
IB Learner Profile Trait of the Month: Inquirer
This month we focus on the IB trait Inquirer, which encourages curiosity, exploration, and independent thinking. Our students show this by asking meaningful questions in class, researching topics that interest them, and exploring creative approaches to problem-solving.
You can help model this trait at home by:
Asking your student what they’re curious about and looking up information together.
Encouraging exploration of new interests through books, videos, podcasts, or projects.
Sharing something new you’ve learned or discovered recently to spark conversation.
Inquirers make learning an adventure — and we’re proud of how our students show curiosity every day!
Have a wonderful week! ROAR!

GotSneakers LEMS PTO Fundraiser
LEMS PTO is excited to kick off the GotSneakers fundraiser beginning April 1 and running through May 1!
It’s hard to believe that an estimated 600 million pairs of shoes go into America’s landfills every year. The good news is that 100% of sneakers can be recycled, and many can even be reused. By donating your used sneakers, you’ll be helping the environment while also supporting LEMS PTO.
We will be collecting used athletic sneakers only in the collection box located outside the LEMS front office.
.
This is a fundraiser for the LEMS PTO, and all proceeds will go toward supporting our students and school programs.
Thank you for supporting LEMS PTO and helping reduce waste!
Annual Family Check In
Thompson School District's Annual Family Check-In for the 2026-2027 school year is now available through your Parent Portal account.
