EdVenture Summer Internship
EdVenture is looking for cheerful and service-oriented teens (middle and high school) to participate in a 10-12 week summer internship opportunity. For over fifteen years, EdVenture has engaged teens in its Museum Apprenticeship Program (MAP), designed to provide on-the-job experience in the world of children’s museums. About twelve interns will be selected to engage with our visitors by presenting activities to our guests, as well as team with our educators at off-site locations to offer activities. The MAP interns will also participate in an NSF-supported STEM Teens project with interns working in other sites (including the Riverbanks Zoo, the Virginia Aquarium, and three museums in the United Kingdom).
Teens who are interested in serving as an intern are asked to send a message of interest to jobs@edventure.org with a copy to Tyshica McConner at hmcconner@edventure.org.
