Google’s big India bet: $15 Billion Vizag AI data centre foundation to be laid on April 28
On April 28, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation of Google's $15 billion artificial intelligence (AI) data centre in Visakhapatnam (Vizag). The project is one of Google’s largest single foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in India and will take place over the next five years.

The state industries department has launched its maiden toy manufacturing policy to tap into global ty market which was valued at $180 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow by 47% to reach an estimated $265 billion by 2028.
