Another season of Running Club has wrapped up. The final mile on January 26 was a fun and lively event! OES was well supported with Mrs. Shields, Ms. Fisher, Mrs. Wilson, and Mrs. Chancy all there to support our OES students!

Thank you so much to our PE teachers for meeting with our kids at 7:50 a.m. 4 days a week for the past several months. We are all happier and healthier for it!

Field Day is Wednesday, February 11 during the half day of school. Students will work up a sweat at all the fun different stations arranged by our Mrs. Shields, Mrs. LaPlaca, and all the folks who help them with this fun event. If you would like to help hydrate our hardworking kids, please sign up at the link below. Thank you!

OES Field Day 2026

Get ready for some fitness and LOTS of FUN! Field Day is next Wednesday, Februay 11. Mrs. Shields and Mrs. LaPlaca are in need of volunteers* to help hydrate our athletes at the water station. Water jugs will need to be filled before the day begins and volunteers will help fill the cups with water during the Field Day festivities. Thank you for your support. You are greatly appreciated! *All prospective volunteers are required to complete an online volunteer application (about 5 minutes) each school year. Walk-a-thon is the OES PTO's largest fundraiser of the year.

This year, on Wednesday, March 25, which is also an early release day, OES students will visit the Barron Collier track to walk or run laps, dance, sip on water, and have fun! Upon returning to OES, students are rewarded with a popsicle. Parents are invited to join in the fun on the track (please bring identification to the field to be granted entry).

The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the PTO's programs and events including Movie Night, teacher stipends, monthly teacher appreciation events, hardship funds, school supplies, a field trip for every grade, and much more.

As the event date nears, keep your eyes peeled for the event flyer with collection envelope for donations, and the Sign-Up Genius link seeking volunteers.

Remember to wear your Osceola Elementary Spirit Wear every Friday.

When you purchase items from the online School Store, you can elect "Pick Up at School" and the item will be sent home with your student, free of charge. You can also elect to "Ship It" to have your order mailed directly to your home.
